Religious Education classes for the 2010-11 school year

will begin on Wednesday, September 8 from 6-7:30pm

in the Knapp Street school for all children in grades 1-8.

High School classes will begin on Sunday, September 12 5-7:30pm @ Lourdes.

Please fill out your family information below and return this form by August 15.  BEFORE 8/15/10 Cost per child: $60 (Family $120). AFTER, Fees will increase to $70 per child ($140 per family) and placement cannot be guaranteed due to space limitations.   You can return this form to the parish office or drop it into the collection basket on the weekend.

This passage (Lk 24:13-35) offers us a model for our ministry and shows the need we all have for ongoing formation in faith. For in it we see two adult disciples who, encountering the risen Lord, grow stronger in love, knowledge, commitment, and zeal. As then, today, "Those who are already disciples of Jesus Christ. ..[need] to be constantly nourished by the word of God so that they may grow in their Christian life. Such lifelong formation is always needed and must be a priority in the Church's catechetical ministry; moreover, it must "be considered the chief form of catechesis.
