Elder Care Ministry includes several services that are available to parish members.

Care Ministers

Care Ministers are trained to make pastoral visits to homebound, the lonely, and people who are going through a crisis or trauma.  They bring the presence of Jesus through their care and compassionate listening.  If you would like a pastoral visit from a Care Minister please call the parish office 235-7412 and ask for Patti Christensen, Pastoral Associate.

Communion to the Homebound

We have people who can bring communion to you after Sunday Mass.  This includes all those who are homebound, ill or cannot make Mass for some other reason.  Call the parish office at 235-7412 to make a request.

Make A Difference Day

On Saturday, October 24, 2009 St. Jude parishioners will volunteer with millions of Americans in Make A Difference Day.  In 2008, twenty-five volunteers helped seniors with raking, washing windows and other jobs to get ready for winter.  Do you need some help this year? You provide the tools and we provide the "elbow grease."  Call the parish office at 235-7412 and ask for Patti Christensen to make a request and get your name on our list.
